You Are A Hologram is Eddie Mangrum and Matt Michiels. The two have been playing together since they met in Nashville in late 2002. There was a full band with more of an indie rock flavor but after many losses to the different lineups, programming was the only option to continue the creative process. The two now spend their time writing and producing their unique brand of electronic rock. Influences are many but to name a few : Built To Spill, Aphex Twin, the Beatles, Squarepusher, and the Flaming Lips.
